Description

This Citronic microphone lead carries balanced audio signals between XLR female and XLR male connections. It measures 1.5m in length and comes in yellow, which makes it easy to spot and colour-code within a busy stage or studio setup. The lead is fully shielded, so it keeps interference out and helps maintain a clean signal across the run.

Inside the cable you get pure copper conductors with cotton reinforcement, wrapped in a soft-grip rubberised jacket that resists tangling. The connectors are professional die-cast XLR types with a locking mechanism on the female end, so once a plug is seated it stays put. Connections are machine-soldered, which gives consistent, repeatable joints across the range. The cable diameter is 6mm, with 20 conductor strands each measuring 0.08mm.

The pin-out follows the standard balanced wiring: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, and pin 3 cold. This makes the lead suitable for dynamic and condenser microphones, mixing desks, and other balanced audio gear.
