Description

We built the Citronic XF-XM1200RD to carry balanced microphone and audio signals cleanly over a 12 metre run. It uses pure copper conductors and full shielding, so you get reliable sound with minimal interference across the length of the cable. The red jacket makes it easy to pick out in a busy setup or bag of leads.

The lead is fitted with professional, locking, die-cast XLR connectors, female on one end and male on the other. Connections are machine-soldered for consistency, and the pin-out follows the standard balanced layout: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold. The 6mm cable holds 20 x 0.08mm conductors, with cotton reinforcement inside for added strength.

The outer jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised finish that resists tangling and coils away neatly after a gig or session. At 12 metres this is a useful length for stage work, studio patching or running a microphone (US: mic) back to a mixer without stretching. It suits live sound, rehearsal spaces and permanent installs where a dependable balanced link matters.
