Description

The Citronic TU2-C is a true diversity UHF wireless microphone system with two individually programmable channels. Each channel syncs wirelessly to its transmitter using an IR connection, setting the carrier frequency, EQ, transmission power and even the display backlight colour so you can tell channels apart at a glance. This dual combo set pairs one handheld microphone with one bodypack transmitter, giving you two ways to work from a single receiver.

The handheld transmitter uses a dynamic capsule in a full metal housing, so it stands up to regular stage use. The bodypack version comes with both a neckband and a lavalier microphone (also called a lapel mic), both using fully balanced signal connection. Each channel has independent 7-band EQ, and the receiver offers individual XLR outputs or a single mixed jack output. Twin BNC antennas (aerials in UK terms) connect at the rear, or to the front panel via the supplied extension cables when rack-mounted in a 19" rack. An auto frequency sweep function helps you find clear channels quickly.

Operation is license-free on the 863-865MHz band across the UK and EU, with additional channel 65 frequencies (823-832MHz) available if you hold a PMSE license. Each channel is tuneable within the license-free and regulated duplex gap bands, arranged in 8 groups of 8 to 16 carrier frequencies. Settings are handled from a front panel full colour TFT display with a rotary encoder, and each channel has a further backlit display that mirrors the transmitter. Two AA batteries are supplied per transmitter. Wireless range reaches up to 60m, making the TU2-C suitable for stage performances, conferences, theatre and general vocal work.
