Description

The Citronic TDCORVA-1215 is a high frequency compression driver built to power the horn flare of a high output PA cabinet. It uses a 75mm (3") Kapton voice coil mated to a 50mm titanium diaphragm, giving you the very high sound pressure levels that the upper frequencies demand in commercial sound reinforcement. With 150W rms power handling and a 300W maximum, it copes with the loads found in busy touring and installed systems.

This unit is a direct replacement for the CORVA-12 and CORVA-15 active or passive PA cabinets, so if you have blown a driver or want a spare on hand, it drops straight in. The 8 ohm impedance and 105dB/mW sensitivity make it an efficient match, and the frequency response runs from 800Hz to 20kHz, covering the range you need above the crossover point. The ceramic magnet weighs 1.75kg (62oz) and the whole driver comes in at 4.5kg.

The titanium diaphragm measures 140 x 110 x 30mm and weighs 40.3g, chosen for its accuracy and light weight so it responds quickly to signal detail. The 50mm (2") throat connects to standard horn flares, and the driver body measures 125 x 225mm.
