Description

The Citronic SUBCASA-18B is an 18-inch low frequency driver built for high power handling in passive sub cabinets. It runs at 8 Ohms and handles 600W RMS, with a large diameter voice coil and a reinforced cone that stands up to sustained low end use. These are direct replacements for the CASA series passive sub cabinets, so if you already run that setup you can swap in a driver without reworking the enclosure.

We designed this driver for installing into ported or folded horn cabinets, where it adds high energy sub frequencies and hard hitting dynamics to medium and large PA systems. The reinforced paper cone sits in a steel frame basket, giving the mechanical strength needed to cope with the excursion these low notes demand. If you are building or repairing a subwoofer (sub) cabinet, this is a practical choice for the bottom octaves.

The 8 Ohm impedance makes wiring straightforward, whether you run a single driver or pair them up across a suitable amplifier.
