Description

The Citronic SUBCASA-15BA is a 15-inch low frequency driver built for high power handling in medium to large PA systems. It runs at 4 Ohms and takes 500W RMS, with a large diameter voice coil and a reinforced paper cone that stands up to sustained low end. The steel frame basket keeps the driver stable under load, so you get controlled bass rather than distortion when the system is pushed hard.

We designed this driver as a direct replacement for our CASA series active sub cabinets, so if you are servicing an existing rig it drops straight in. It also works well as a build component for ported or folded horn cabinets, where the reinforced cone and heavy voice coil help add high energy sub frequencies and strong dynamics. In the US you may see the same part referred to as a woofer or subwoofer driver, but the specification is identical.

The 4 Ohm impedance suits amplifiers rated for lower loads, letting you draw more power per channel when your amp supports it. Pair it with a suitable enclosure to match the tuning to your venue, whether that is a small club or a larger hall. As a single component you have the flexibility to repair, upgrade or build from scratch, keeping your existing cabinets in service instead of replacing whole units.
