Description

The Citronic SUBCASA-12B is a 12" low frequency driver rated at 400Wrms with an 8 Ohm impedance. It uses a reinforced paper cone and a steel frame basket, along with a large diameter voice coil that helps it cope with sustained high power handling. This is a bass driver built for the demands of medium to large PA setups where low end output matters.

We designed this driver as a direct replacement for the passive sub cabinets in the CASA series, so if you need to service or refit an existing cabinet the fit and performance are already matched. It suits installation into ported or folded horn enclosures, both of which help the driver push out the low frequencies with plenty of energy and dynamics. The reinforced cone keeps its shape under load, which supports cleaner bass at higher volumes.

If you are building or repairing a subwoofer (or sub cabinet, as it is often called), the SUBCASA-12B gives you a solid 12" foundation for the bottom end. The 8 Ohm rating makes it straightforward to wire into common amplifier configurations, and the steel basket adds rigidity for reliable long term use.
