Description

The Citronic SUBCASA-10BA is a 10" low frequency driver built for high power handling at 4 Ohms. It uses a large diameter voice coil and a reinforced paper cone on a steel frame basket, which keeps things stable when you push it hard. If you run a CASA series active sub cabinet, this is a direct replacement for the driver inside it.

It rates 300W RMS and is made to add high energy sub frequencies to medium and large PA systems. The reinforced cone and heavy duty basket help it cope with the demands of sustained low end, so you get solid output without the driver flexing itself apart. Whether you call it a sub driver or a subwoofer speaker, the job is the same: moving air at the bottom of the range.

The SUBCASA-10BA is designed for fitting into ported or folded horn cabinets, where the enclosure does its share of the work in shaping the low frequencies. That makes it a sensible choice if you are repairing an existing cabinet or building your own.
