Description

The Citronic SMS001 is a desk-mounted microphone boom arm built for studio and broadcasting use. It clamps to the edge of your desk and holds your microphone out in front of you, freeing up space and keeping the mic within easy reach. The arm rotates a full 360 degrees, so you can position it wherever you need it and swing it out of the way when you are finished.

Spring retraction keeps movement quick and smooth, letting you reposition the mic with one hand and hold it steady once you have it where you want it. A lockable hinge adds a bit of safety, so the arm stays put and does not drift while you work. A microphone clip comes supplied, so you have what you need to mount most standard mics straight away.

The desk clamp takes surfaces up to 50mm deep, which covers most studio and home desks. The finish is black, keeping it discreet against typical studio kit. It suits podcasting, voiceover work, streaming and general recording where you want the mic close but the stand out of shot. If you have been working with a floor stand or a fixed desk stand (US: desk mount) and want more freedom of movement, a boom arm like this is a straightforward upgrade.
