Description

This Citronic audio lead runs 6 metres between two 6.3mm stereo TRS jack plugs, giving you a balanced connection for mixers, active speakers, DI boxes and other line-level gear. The die-cast jack plugs are built to take regular plugging and unplugging on stage or in the studio, and the machine-soldered connections keep the joints consistent and reliable.

Inside the cable you get two 20-strand pure copper conductors at 0.1mm each, with cotton reinforcement running through the core to help it cope with handling and coiling. The shielding keeps unwanted noise down, so the signal stays clean over the full length of the run. The outer jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised finish that resists tangles and sits neatly when you wrap it away.

At 6mm in overall diameter, the cable is sturdy without being stiff, so it lays flat and packs down easily. The 6.3mm jack is also known as a 1/4-inch jack, and TRS stands for tip-ring-sleeve, the three-conductor layout that carries a balanced or stereo signal.
