Description

This Citronic audio lead runs between two 6.3mm stereo (TRS) jack plugs, giving you a balanced connection over a 0.75m length. It suits mixers, active speakers, DI boxes and other studio or stage gear that uses quarter-inch balanced inputs and outputs. The die-cast metal plugs are built for repeated use, and the machine-soldered connections keep the signal path solid.

The cable itself measures 6mm in diameter and carries two conductors, each made from 20 strands of 0.1mm pure copper. Cotton reinforcement adds strength inside the jacket, so the lead holds up to bending and coiling. The outer sleeve is a soft-grip, rubberised jacket that resists tangling, which makes packing down and setting up quicker. Shielding helps keep out hum and interference on balanced runs.

A 6.3mm jack is often called a quarter-inch jack, and TRS stands for tip-ring-sleeve, the three-contact layout that carries a balanced mono or stereo signal. At 0.75m this is a short lead, handy for tidy patching between units sat close together, such as an interface and a pair of monitors. If you need a longer run, Citronic makes the same cable in other lengths within this range. Pure copper conductors give a clean, reliable signal for everyday audio work.
