Description
This Citronic audio lead splits a single 6.3mm stereo (TRS) jack plug out to two 6.3mm mono jack plugs, giving you a straightforward way to send a balanced or stereo signal into two separate mono inputs. It runs to 6.0 metres, so there's enough length to reach across a stage, studio desk or rack without pulling tight. The 6.3mm size is the standard large jack, sometimes called a 1/4 inch jack, used on mixers, amps, DI boxes and instrument gear.
We've built this lead to hold up to regular use. The connectors are die-cast for a solid feel, and the joints are machine-soldered for consistent, reliable connections. Inside, the twinned cable uses pure copper conductors, with 2 x 12 strands at 0.1mm each, backed by cotton reinforcement to help the cable cope with movement and repeated coiling.
The outer jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised finish that resists tangling and stays flexible when you wrap the lead away. The twin cable measures 5mm in diameter (5 x 10mm across the pair) and the shielding helps keep unwanted noise out of your signal. It's a sensible choice for connecting a stereo source to two mono destinations, or for splitting a signal where your setup calls for it. Everything about the lead is aimed at clean sound and steady performance over time, whether it lives in a fixed install or gets packed down after every gig.

Frequently Asked
What does this lead connect to?
It takes one 6.3mm stereo (TRS) jack plug and splits it to two 6.3mm mono jack plugs, so you can feed a stereo or balanced source into two separate mono inputs.
How long is the cable?
The lead is 6.0 metres long, giving you room to reach across a stage, studio or rack setup.
Is a 6.3mm jack the same as a 1/4 inch jack?
Yes. The 6.3mm jack is the standard large jack, often listed as a 1/4 inch jack in the US, and fits the same sockets.
What are the conductors made from?
Each side uses 2 x 12 strands of 0.1mm pure copper, with cotton reinforcement for durability.
Is the cable shielded?
Yes, it's a shielded lead, which helps keep unwanted noise out of your audio signal.
Will the lead resist tangling?
The rubberised, soft-grip jacket is anti-tangle and stays flexible, so it coils and packs away neatly.
