Description

This Citronic insert lead splits a single 6.3mm stereo TRS jack plug into two 6.3mm mono jack plugs, giving you a tidy way to break out send and return signals from one connection. It's a common setup for patching an insert point on a mixing desk or connecting balanced gear where you need to separate the tip and ring. The cable measures 3.0m, which gives enough reach for most rack and desk layouts without leaving excess to coil.

The build uses twinned high-grade cable with pure copper conductors, each leg carrying 2 x 12 strands at 0.1mm diameter. Cotton reinforcement runs through the cable to help it stand up to repeated handling, and the outer jacket is a soft-grip rubberised finish that resists tangling. The twin cable measures 5mm in diameter, laid out as a 5 x 10mm profile. Connections are machine-soldered for consistency across the run.

The die-cast jack plugs (called jack connectors in the UK and phone plugs in the US) are shielded to keep interference down, so signal stays clean whether you're using this for studio patching or live work. It's a straightforward, reliable cable for anyone who needs to convert one TRS point into two mono jacks. The 6.3mm size is the standard quarter-inch jack found on most professional audio equipment.
