Description

This Citronic audio lead connects a female XLR to a 3.5mm balanced TRS jack plug, giving you a short 0.5m link between balanced sources and equipment. It's built for regular use, with a die-cast XLR connector and machine-soldered joints that hold up well over time. The balanced wiring keeps interference low, so signal stays clean across the run.

The cable measures 6mm in diameter and uses two 20-strand conductors of 0.1mm pure copper, paired with cotton reinforcement for strength. Around the outside sits a soft-grip, rubberised jacket that resists tangling and feels comfortable to handle. Shielding runs the full length to guard against noise pickup, which matters when you're working near power cables or other gear.

Wiring follows a balanced pin-out: sleeve to pin 1, tip to pin 2 and ring to pin 3. The 3.5mm jack plug (also called a mini-jack or 1/8-inch jack in the US) works with laptops, mixers and portable recorders that carry a balanced 3.5mm output or input. At 0.5m this is a handy length for tight setups, patching between nearby units or keeping a desk tidy without excess cable. It's a straightforward, reliable lead for studio, stage or home use.
