Description

This Citronic audio lead connects a 3.5mm stereo (TRS) jack plug to two RCA phono plugs, giving you a simple way to link a phone, laptop or mixer to an amplifier or powered speakers. The lead measures 1.5m, which suits most desk and rack setups without leaving too much slack. In the UK we tend to call these RCA phono plugs, while in the US you may see them listed as RCA connectors.

The cable itself uses twinned high-grade wire with pure copper conductors, each side carrying 2 x 12 strands at 0.1mm diameter. Cotton reinforcement adds strength inside the twin 5mm jacket, and the soft-grip rubberised outer resists tangles when you coil it away. Shielding helps keep interference out, so your signal stays clean over the run.

The plugs are die-cast for the RCA ends, with machine-soldered connections throughout for consistent joints. This is a practical lead for home hi-fi, studio monitoring and small PA work where you need a reliable stereo connection between unbalanced gear. It handles regular plugging and unplugging without the connectors working loose, and the rubberised jacket takes the knocks of everyday use. If you want a straightforward jack-to-phono lead that does the job and lasts, this one covers the basics well.
