Description

The Citronic RUHH-PLL is a UHF handheld transmitter built to work with the RU105 and RU210 wireless systems. It uses a pilot tone to keep the link stable and clean, so you get reliable audio when the transmitter and receiver are paired. Inside the head sits a high quality dynamic capsule, which handles vocals, speech and general handheld use well.

Setup is straightforward because the carrier frequency can be programmed via an I.R. sync signal sent from the Citronic wireless receiver unit. Point the transmitter at the receiver, run the sync, and the two are matched on the same channel. The operating range runs from 863.1 to 864.9MHz, and you get up to 60m of working range in typical conditions. A backlit LCD display on the body shows the current settings, which helps when you are checking status in low light or on a busy stage.

Power comes from 2 x AA batteries (3Vdc), so you can swap in fresh cells quickly rather than waiting on a recharge. The body measures 265 x 49mm in diameter and weighs 330g, giving it a solid feel in the hand without being heavy across a long set.
