Description
This 19" flightcase from Citronic is built for the safe transport of audio equipment. It gives you three units (3U) of rack space and is made to keep your gear protected while it moves between venues, studios or storage. The removable front and rear lids mean you can access your equipment from both sides without lifting everything out.
Construction is 9mm vinyl laminated plywood, with washers fitted on all the rivets to strengthen the joints and stop the wood from splitting over time. Heavy duty handles make it easier to lift and carry, and protective corner pieces (sometimes called ball corners) take the knocks that come with regular touring and load-ins. The vinyl laminate helps the case shrug off scuffs and marks.
The RACK:3U is part of a wider range, with 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16U versions available, so you can match the case to the amount of kit you need to move. Mixers, amplifiers, power conditioners and other standard 19" rack-mount units all fit, held in place by the front and rear rack rails. If you regularly transport expensive equipment, a proper flightcase like this is a sensible way to keep it working and looking right.
