Description

The Citronic RACK:2U is a 19" flightcase built to carry and protect your audio equipment on the move. It gives you two rack units (2U) of mounting space, making it a sensible choice for a small mixer, amplifier or a pair of half-width processors. The case is made from 9mm vinyl laminated plywood, with washers fitted on all the rivets to strengthen the joints and stop the wood from splitting over time.

For everyday handling, the case comes fitted with heavy duty handles and protective corner pieces, so it stands up to the knocks that come with regular gigging or hire work. The front and rear lids are both removable, so you can get at your gear from either side and leave the lids off entirely once you're set up. That makes cabling and quick adjustments a lot easier than working through a fixed door.

This is the 2U version, but the same range is available in 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16U sizes, so you can match the case to the depth and height of your rig. Whether you call it a flightcase or a road case, the aim is the same: safe transport for kit that costs a good deal more than the box it travels in. If your equipment uses standard 19" rack ears, it will mount straight into the RACK:2U.
