Description
The Citronic RACK:16UX is a mobile 19" equipment rack built for gear that needs to move between venues. It gives you 16U of rack space, with the option to mount a 19" (10U) mixer on top of the unit using the ratchet-style tilt-up mixer rack. That angle makes the controls easier to reach when you're working, and it locks in place so nothing shifts mid-set.
Both the front and top lids come off completely, so you can get at your equipment from more than one side without lifting everything out. There's also a rear access panel for cabling and connections, which saves you turning the whole case around to reach the back. The case itself is robust and takes a maximum weight load of 250kg, so it copes with a full stack of amps, mixers and processors.
Wheels are supplied and can be fitted when you need them, turning the rack into something you can roll rather than carry. For mobile DJs, hire companies and touring engineers, that means fewer trips and less strain moving between the van and the stage. When the wheels aren't needed, the case sits flat and stable. It's a straightforward, hard-wearing way to keep your rack-mounted kit protected and ready to go.
