Description

The Citronic RACK:12U is a 19" flightcase built to carry mounted audio equipment safely from one venue to the next. It gives you 12U of rack space, so there's room for a good stack of amps, mixers, effects and other gear that fits the standard 19" width. The case is made from 9mm vinyl laminated plywood, with washers fitted on all the rivets to strengthen the joints and stop the wood from splitting over time.

On the outside you get heavy duty handles for lifting and moving, along with protective corner pieces that take the knocks when the case is loaded in and out of vans. Both the front and rear lids are removable, so you can reach your equipment from either side and get to the cabling at the back without having to lift everything out. That makes wiring up and packing down quicker when you're working to a schedule.

This 12U model sits in a wider range that also comes in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16U sizes, so you can match the case to the amount of gear you need to move. Flightcases like this are sometimes called road cases in the US, and they do the same job either way: keeping expensive kit protected during transport and storage. If you regularly move a rack setup between gigs or studios, the RACK:12U is a sturdy way to keep it all together.
