Description

This Citronic guitar lead carries unbalanced signals between your instrument and amp, mixer or pedalboard. It uses a straight 6.3mm (1/4") mono jack plug at one end and a right-angled 6.3mm mono jack plug at the other, so it sits neatly against a guitar body or a tight rack of pedals. At 3.0m it gives enough room to move without leaving excess cable underfoot.

The lead is fully shielded to keep noise and interference out of the signal path. Inside are pure copper conductors, each made from 18 strands at 0.16mm diameter, with cotton reinforcement for added strength. The connections are machine-soldered to the professional die-cast jack plugs, which helps them stay reliable through regular use and repeated plugging in and out.

The outer jacket has a soft-grip, rubberised finish that resists tangling when you coil and store the lead. The overall cable diameter is 6.8mm, giving a solid feel without being stiff or bulky. It suits guitar, bass and other instruments, as well as general audio jobs where an unbalanced mono connection is needed. Both jack plugs are the standard 6.3mm size found on most instruments and amplifiers, so the lead drops straight into a typical setup.

Frequently Asked

What length is this lead?

It is 3.0m long, which gives room to move on stage or in a studio without trailing too much slack.

What connectors does it use?

One straight 6.3mm (1/4") mono jack plug and one right-angled 6.3mm mono jack plug, both die-cast.

Is it a balanced or unbalanced lead?

It carries unbalanced mono signals, which is standard for guitars, basses and most instrument connections.

Will it work with instruments other than guitar?

Yes. It suits guitar, bass and other instruments, plus general audio uses that need a 6.3mm mono connection.

Why choose the right-angled plug?

The right-angled 6.3mm jack sits flush against a guitar body or a crowded pedalboard, reducing strain on the socket.

What are the conductors made of?

Pure copper, with two runs of 18 strands at 0.16mm diameter each, plus cotton reinforcement for strength.
