Description

The Citronic LFCASA-8A is a replacement 8" woofer (also called a low frequency driver) built for active PA cabinets. It carries a 4 Ohm impedance and handles up to 200W, giving you the power headroom needed for reliable low frequency delivery in a full-range system. We supply these as direct replacements, so you can get a working cabinet back in service without changing the original design.

This driver is a straight fit for CASA, CUBA and CLARA series full range active cabinets. The cone uses reinforced paper mounted on a steel frame basket, which keeps the driver stable under load and gives a balanced response across its range. If you have blown or aged a woofer in one of these cabinets, swapping in the matching part keeps the sound consistent with the rest of your setup.

We recommend matching the replacement to the original driver so the crossover and cabinet tuning stay as intended. The 4 Ohm rating and 200W power handling are set to work with the active electronics fitted to these Citronic models. Fitting is straightforward for anyone comfortable working inside a PA cabinet, and once installed the woofer covers the low end while the cabinet's own amplifier and higher frequency driver handle the rest of the range.
