Description

The Citronic LFCASA-12A is a 12-inch woofer built as a direct replacement main driver for CASA, CUBA and CLARA series full-range active PA cabinets. If a driver in one of these cabinets has failed or worn out, this unit drops straight in and gets the cabinet working again without any need to change the amplifier module or rewire the enclosure.

It runs at 4 ohms and handles 300W, with a balanced response tuned for efficient delivery of low frequencies. The cone is reinforced paper mounted on a steel frame basket, which keeps the moving parts well supported under load and helps the driver hold its shape when pushed hard. That combination gives you the low-end weight a full-range cabinet needs while keeping the mid response clean.

Because this is a like-for-like replacement, you keep the same tuning and sound the cabinet was designed around. Fit it to the original mounting points, reconnect the terminals and the cabinet is ready to work again. Note that a woofer is sometimes called a bass driver or low-frequency driver, and all three terms refer to the same component here. Check the impedance and power rating against your amplifier module before fitting to make sure you have the correct part.
