Description

The Citronic HFCASA-15/15A is a high frequency titanium compression driver built as a direct replacement for the CASA series full range active cabinets. If a tweeter in one of these speakers has failed or lost output, this driver drops in without any modification, so you can get a working PA cabinet back into service quickly. The titanium diaphragm measures 44mm (1.75") and handles 60W RMS.

The driver uses a standard 34mm diameter threaded exit, which lets it couple directly with the tweeter flare (also called a horn) already fitted in your cabinet. The throat measures 25mm diameter (1") and the unit runs at 8 Ohms, matching the crossover network in full range PA speakers. This combination is designed for accurate high frequency reproduction across vocals, cymbals and other detail that sits at the top of the audio range.

Compression drivers work by pushing sound through a narrow throat before it reaches the flare, which raises efficiency and output compared with an ordinary dome tweeter. That makes them well suited to live sound and other jobs where you need volume without distortion. We supply the HFCASA-15/15A as a straight swap part, so if you are maintaining or repairing Citronic CASA cabinets you have the correct spare to hand.
