Description
The Citronic H3200 is a lightweight power amplifier built into a 19" rack-mountable housing, made for generating high sound pressure levels in medium to large sound reinforcement systems. It delivers 2x1200W into 4 ohms and is stable down to 2 ohms, or 4 ohms when bridged. The hybrid class-H architecture combines the efficiency of a digitally controlled power section with the power delivery and stability of a professional class-H output stage, so you get dependable service without the weight penalty of older designs.
Comprehensive internal protection monitors thermal and overload conditions, mutes automatically at power on and off, and provides active inrush limiting. A backlit LCD status display shows supply voltage, internal temperature and output level as you work, so you can keep an eye on the amp during long sessions. The fully balanced signal path has three switchable input sensitivity levels (1.0V, 1.4V and 2.0V) to match different audio sources, and the amplifier can run in Stereo, Parallel or Bridge modes.
A switchable 120Hz low-pass filter can be selected for use with subwoofers, which avoids the need for a separate crossover and saves both expense and rack space. Speaker outputs connect using one or two Speakon leads as required. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 20kHz (±0.5dB) with THD+N of 0.2% and a signal-to-noise ratio of -95dB. The H3200 gives sound contractors and PA installers immediate, dynamic power on demand with reliable output quality across the range.

Frequently Asked
What power does the H3200 deliver?
It provides 2x1200W into 4 ohms. It is stable down to 2 ohms per channel, or 4 ohms when bridged.
What operating modes does it support?
The amplifier section can be set to Stereo, Parallel or Bridge modes, so you can match it to your system layout.
Do I need a separate crossover for subwoofers?
No. The switchable 120Hz low-pass filter can be selected for subwoofer use, saving the cost and rack space of a separate crossover.
How are the speaker outputs connected?
Speaker outputs connect using one or two Speakon leads as required.
What input sensitivity options are available?
There are three switchable input sensitivity levels: 1.0V, 1.4V and 2.0V, to match different audio sources.
What protection features are built in?
Internal protection covers short/open circuit, thermal, RF, DC fault, on/off mute and active inrush limiting.
