Description

The Citronic FCN-XLR is a discreet neckband microphone designed to work with TU4 UHF bodypack transmitters. It rests around the neck and keeps the capsule close to the mouth, which frees up your hands for presenting, teaching or performing. The beige colouring helps it sit quietly against clothing and skin, so it stays out of the way both on camera and in the room.

At its heart is a back electret condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. The cardioid response picks up sound mainly from the front, which helps reduce feedback and unwanted noise from around you. The capsule is powered directly from the bodypack transmitter at 3Vdc, so there is no separate battery to manage on the microphone itself. Connection is made through a mini XLR plug, giving you a balanced link back to the transmitter for a clean signal.
