Description

The Citronic DM50S is a dynamic vocal microphone (mic) built around a neodymium magnet capsule. That capsule gives it a high output and good sensitivity, so your voice comes through clearly whether you're on stage or rehearsing at home. The cardioid polar pattern helps with feedback rejection by picking up sound from the front and rejecting most of what comes from behind, which keeps things cleaner when you're working near monitors or speakers.

The frequency response runs from 70Hz to 15kHz, covering the range that matters most for vocals. Output impedance sits at 600 Ohms and sensitivity is rated at -60dB ±3dB at 1kHz. There's a sliding lockable switch on the body, so you can set it and leave it without worrying about knocking the mic on or off mid-performance. The rugged construction is made for regular stage use and the knocks that come with it. At 185mm long, 50mm in diameter and 323g, it has a solid feel in the hand without being heavy.

Connection is via a standard XLR (XLRM) fitting. The DM50S comes supplied with a 4.0m XLR to 6.3mm mono jack lead, which is unbalanced, so you can plug straight into a mixer or amp with a jack input. An ABS carry case is included to keep the mic and lead protected between uses. It's a straightforward, reliable choice for singers, bands and anyone who needs a dependable vocal mic that just works.
