Description

The Citronic D4200 is a four-channel digital power amplifier built into a lightweight 1U rack-mountable case. Each of its four independent speaker outputs delivers 200Wrms, driven by a switch-mode power section and class-D amplifier circuit. This design keeps the amp efficient and compact while giving you accurate power on demand across all four channels, so it suits both permanent installs and mobile rigs.

You can set the D4200 up in a few ways to match the job. Each pair of output channels can be parallel switched or bridged, letting you run the amp as a quad, stereo or 2.1 system. Channel A has a switchable 120Hz low-pass filter (LPF) for subwoofers, while channels C and D share a switchable stereo pair of 120Hz high-pass filters (HPF) to focus power in full-range cabinets running as mid-tops alongside subs. A fully balanced audio signal path helps keep noise down through the four XLR female inputs.

Protection is built in throughout. The amp includes full audio and power protection with a peak limiter, and Citronic's cool guide technology handles temperature management for steady, dependable running under load. Speaker connections use four SPK (Speakon) connectors, and the amp runs on a 220-240Vac mains supply via IEC. For audio designers and sound engineers, the flexible routing and onboard filters make the D-series a practical problem solver in a single rack space.
