Description

The Citronic D1000 is a stereo power amplifier that delivers 2 x 500Wrms from a lightweight 1U rack-mountable housing. It uses Class-D circuit architecture, which converts power into audio efficiently and keeps the amplifier running cool even at high output. That efficiency matters when you need a compact unit to drive medium to large speaker cabinets without adding weight or bulk to your rack.

Custom cool guide technology helps the D1000 stay reliable during long sessions, and an inbuilt limiter circuit engages at peak output to protect your speakers from overload. You can switch between stereo, parallel (mono) and bridge (mono) modes to suit different setups, and selectable input sensitivity of 0.775V, 1.0V or 1.44V lets you match the amplifier to your source. A switchable 75Hz low-cut filter removes unwanted low frequencies where you need it.

Connections are straightforward. Inputs use L+R XLR female sockets, with L+R XLR male through connections for passing signal on to another amplifier. Outputs run through L+R SPK connectors (speakON in some regions), with an extra output for bridge mode. The D1000 runs from a 220-240Vac, 50/60Hz IEC mains supply. Whether you are handling a fixed install or a mobile rig, this amplifier gives you flexible routing options and enough headroom for demanding sound reinforcement work.
