Description

The Citronic CUBA-15S is a passive subwoofer cabinet built for high output PA setups. It uses a single 15-inch high energy sub frequency driver to deliver punchy, powerful low end, with an rms power handling of 800W. As a passive sub, it takes its signal from an external amplifier rather than powering itself, so you can build a system around the amps you already run.

The cabinet is made from 15mm MDF and finished in a durable textured polyurea coating that holds up well to the knocks of regular gigging and transport. A powder coated steel grille protects the driver, and there are carry handles built into both sides for easier lifting and positioning. A top mounted 35mm pole mount socket lets you fit a full-range speaker on a pole above the sub, which keeps floor space clear and lifts the mid and high frequencies to ear level.

Connection is handled by two parallel Speakon-style SPK sockets, sometimes called speaker sockets, which make it simple to daisy chain or link cabinets. The CUBA-15S runs at 8 Ohms and pairs well with CUBA passive PA speakers or other high output full-range tops. It suits mobile DJs, small venues and event hire work where you need solid, reliable sub bass without carrying a lot of extra weight. Match it with a suitable power amplifier to get the most from the driver.
