Description

The Citronic CORVA-8 is a heavy duty main driver built for full range sound reinforcement cabinets. It uses a formed steel basket, a high power voice coil and a large magnet, all working together to handle plenty of power and deliver good SPL. This 8" woofer (also called a bass driver) is rated at 350W with an 8ohm impedance, making it a solid choice for filling out the low and mid range in a passive cabinet.

We build the CORVA-8 around a heavy duty pressed steel frame, which gives the driver the rigidity it needs to cope with sustained use. The large voice coil and magnet assembly help keep things stable when you push the power, and the reinforced paper diaphragm (or cone) is chosen for a balanced full range output rather than a single narrow band.
