Description

The Citronic CORVA-18SA is a high power active subwoofer built to add deep, dynamic low end to larger sound reinforcement setups. It pairs with the CORVA full-range cabinets to form a balanced system with high SPL and strong projection, making it a sensible choice for concert venues, outdoor events and other jobs that call for long range coverage. The 18-inch driver is a custom heavy-duty unit built for serious power handling and a solid, controlled response.

At the heart of the cabinet sits a class-D amplifier section under DSP control. Setup runs through a menu-driven colour display, so you can adjust EQ profiles, dynamics and gain directly on the unit. For more detailed work, a USB interface lets you connect a PC to test, fine-tune and save custom DSP settings. This gives installers and sound technicians a repeatable way to dial in the sub for a given room or rig.

The enclosure is made from 18mm plywood with a polyurea coating and a powder-coated steel grille, giving it the toughness needed for regular transport and heavy use. It is ported for extended low frequency output, and the driver is reinforced within the cabinet. Double carry handles on each side make lifting and positioning easier, while a 35mm pole mount socket on top lets you fit a full-range top box (also called a satellite speaker) straight onto the sub. The rated impedance is 8 ohms and peak power handling is 2000W.
