Description

The Citronic CMA-8 is a compact audio mixer built for small live setups, rehearsal spaces and home studios where you need plenty of routing without a large desk. It offers mono input channels with combo XLR/jack (US: phone jack) inputs, a stereo line input and an extra minijack stereo input. Each mono mic/line channel has a Gain control to match your source, a low-cut switch to filter out rumble and handling noise, High/Low EQ controls and an FX level control. Pairs of mono channels can be linked to work as a stereo left and right pair whenever you need it.

Onboard you get a DSP effects engine with 99 presets covering delay, reverb and modulation, each adjustable using two parameter controls and switchable by foot. Switchable +48V phantom power is available in pairs for the XLR inputs, so you can run condenser microphones alongside dynamic ones. A Bluetooth receiver (v5.1) has an illuminated pairing button and independent volume control, and the top-panel USB type-A port handles MP3 playback, recording of the main outputs to a USB storage device, or use as an external audio device when connected to a laptop or PC/Mac.

Main output runs to a pair of balanced XLR connectors for low-noise operation across studio or live work, with a 6.3mm headphone jack for monitoring. Power comes via a USB type-C supply (adaptor included), drawing a maximum of 5W, so it is easy to run from a range of sources. Frequency response is 20Hz to 22kHz (±1dB), THD+N is under 0.05% at 1kHz and the DSP runs at a 48kHz, 24-bit sample rate. The CMA-8 is supplied in a padded transit bag for carrying between venues.
