Description

The Citronic CEQ231 is a dual 31-band graphic equaliser (EQ) built into a 19" 2U rackmount chassis. Each of the two channels gives you 31 faders set at 1/3 octave ISO spacing, so you can adjust labelled frequencies across the full 20Hz to 20kHz range. Every band offers up to 12dB of cut or boost, letting you shape the sound of a system with a fair amount of control while keeping each adjustment clear and repeatable.

Both channels use RF filtered, servo-balanced inputs to help keep unwanted noise out of the signal path. Constant Q on each band means the width of each filter stays consistent whether you cut or boost, so the changes you make behave predictably. There's a bypass switch for quick A/B comparison between your EQ setting and the flat signal, plus a low-cut switch on each channel to roll off low-frequency rumble. A gain control per channel lets you match levels, and LED VU meters give you a visual reference for what's passing through.

The CEQ231 runs from a 115/230Vac supply via IEC and covers a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. Balanced input impedance is 40k ohms, unbalanced is 20k ohms, with output impedance of 330 ohms balanced or unbalanced. Channel separation is greater than 50dB, signal to noise ratio is over 102dB and THD sits at 0.005%. The unit measures 482 x 88 x 139mm and weighs 3.3kg, making it a practical choice for live sound, install work or fixed PA setups where a graphic EQ across two channels is needed.
