Description
The Citronic CASA-12A is a full-range active PA speaker (loudspeaker) built around a 12-inch driver and a high efficiency class D bi-amplifier section rated at 280W RMS. The high impact moulded cabinet keeps the weight manageable and includes side and top handles for carrying, plus a 35mm pole mount socket so you can raise it on a stand. It works as a standalone box for smaller events or pairs with the CASA series sub cabinets when you need more low-end for larger rooms.
Signal handling is flexible. Inputs are on combi XLR/jack with mic/line level switching, alongside RCA (phono) line connectors for playing back from a DJ mixer or media source. The DSP controller gives you five switchable output profiles: Normal, DJ, Voice, Live and Flat, so you can match the sound to speech, music or a full band without carrying extra processing. A line output on XLR lets you link to a second cabinet or a sub.
For playback without a laptop, the built-in audio module reads files from USB or SD media and pairs over Bluetooth for wireless streaming from a phone or tablet. Power comes from a 230Vac 50Hz IEC supply. The CASA-12A suits mobile DJs, function bands, houses of worship and hire stock, covering most general PA jobs from a single unit. If you run events regularly, it gives you a self-contained box that sets up quickly and adapts to whatever you plug into it.

Can I play music without a mixer or laptop?
Yes. The built-in audio module plays files from USB or SD media, and it also pairs over Bluetooth for wireless streaming from a phone or tablet.
What are the five DSP profiles for?
The profiles are Normal, DJ, Voice, Live and Flat. Each shapes the output to suit different material, so you can match the sound to speech, DJ music or a live band.
