Description

The Citronic CASA-10B is a compact passive subwoofer cabinet built for portable PA use. Each cabinet is made from 15mm MDF with a hard-wearing texture polyurea paint finish, keeping it light enough to carry while standing up to regular gigging and transport. Two side carry handles make it easy to lift and position, and a 35mm pole mount socket lets you sit a satellite speaker directly on top for a full range setup.

The front-loaded sub driver is protected by a steel grille and handles 300Wrms, delivering solid low end and adding warmth to any sound system. You can run it in low pass filtered mode, using the built-in 120Hz 12dB/oct filter, or take a direct input depending on how you want to set up your rig. Connection is via two Speakon (SPK) sockets on the rear panel, so you can link cabinets and feed output from your power amplifier with standard Speakon leads. The cabinet runs at 8 Ohms.

We designed the CASA-10B to pair with the wider CASA range of PA cabinets, though it works just as well in any high energy sound reinforcement setup. The 15in and 18in models in the range include mounting points for castors, so you can add wheels for bigger cabinets if you need them. If you want a small footprint sub that adds low end without weighing you down, this is a practical choice for mobile DJs, bands and hire stock.
