Description

The Citronic CAB-15L is an active PA speaker built for portable setups where you want good sound without a lot of kit to carry. It uses a digital Class D and Class AB amplifier circuit to drive custom low and high frequency drivers, giving you a powerful output while keeping the power draw and the weight down. The cabinet is moulded from injection polypropylene (PP), which keeps things light and hard-wearing, and it comes with integral top and side carry handles plus a 35mm pole mount for stand use.

Connections are straightforward. There is a switchable Mic/Line input on XLR or jack, a separate Line input on XLR or RCA, and each has its own volume control so you can balance a microphone against background music. A built-in Bluetooth receiver lets you play straight from a phone or tablet, and the BT link function connects wirelessly to a second CAB series speaker to make a stereo pair (Bluetooth signal only). A line output on XLR is included for feeding another cabinet. Power on, limit and Bluetooth link LEDs keep you informed of what the speaker is doing.

The high frequency driver is a 35mm titanium compression driver, and the dispersion is rated at 90° by 60° for even coverage across a room. Impedance is 4 Ohms on the low frequency section and 8 Ohms on the high frequency section. The CAB-15L runs from a 220-240Vac 50Hz mains supply and is supplied with an IEC lead and UK plug, so it is ready to use out of the box. It suits small gigs, functions, presentations and mobile DJ work where quick setup matters.

Yes. The BT link function connects one CAB series speaker to another over Bluetooth to form a stereo pair. Note that this link carries the Bluetooth signal only.
