Description

The Citronic CAB-12L is an active PA speaker built around a compact, lightweight moulded polypropylene enclosure. Custom low and high frequency drivers are driven by a digital amplifier that pairs Class D and Class AB circuitry, so you get plenty of output without the extra weight of a traditional amp design. It rates at 300W, making it a practical choice for smaller gigs, presentations, mobile setups and DJ work where you want strong sound but limited setup time.

Connectivity covers most day to day needs. There's a switchable Mic/Line input on XLR or jack and a separate Line input on XLR or RCA, each with its own volume control. A built in Bluetooth receiver lets you play music straight from a phone or tablet, and the BT link function connects wirelessly to a second CAB series speaker to form a stereo pair. Note that the link carries the Bluetooth signal only. A line output on XLR is there if you need to feed another speaker by cable instead.

Handling is straightforward thanks to integral top and side carry handles and a 35mm pole mount (pole socket) for stand use. Onboard LEDs show power on, limiter activity and Bluetooth link status, so you can keep an eye on the speaker at a glance. The high frequency driver is a 35mm titanium compression unit giving 90° by 60° dispersion. Each speaker comes with an IEC lead and UK plug, so it's ready to run out of the box. Impedance is 4 Ohms on the LF driver and 8 Ohms on the HF.

Yes. The BT link function connects wirelessly to another CAB series speaker to form a stereo pair. This works with the Bluetooth signal only, so it applies to audio streamed over Bluetooth.
