Description

The Citronic CAB-12 is a full-range passive speaker cabinet built for compact, capable sound reinforcement. The enclosure is made from injection moulded polypropylene, which keeps it light without sacrificing durability, so it stays easy to move between gigs, functions and rehearsal spaces. Inside, a custom designed low frequency woofer is paired with a titanium compression driver, giving you a powerful but balanced sound across the range.

Handling has been thought through with integral carry handles on both the top and the side, so you can lift and position the cabinet whichever way suits the setup. A 35mm pole mount socket lets you place the CAB-12 on a speaker stand (also called a tripod stand) to get the drivers up to ear height, which helps with coverage in larger rooms. The dispersion pattern is 90 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees vertical, spreading sound evenly across the audience.

Connection is straightforward. The rear panel carries two SPK sockets (Speakon connectors), so you can run a cable from your amplifier into either socket, or link through to a second cabinet. The CAB-12 runs at 8 Ohms combined for the low and high frequency sections and handles 300W RMS. As a passive cabinet, it needs a separate power amplifier rather than having one built in. It suits mobile DJs, bands and smaller venues that want a compact rig without a heavy load to carry.
