Description

The Citronic CAB-10L is an active PA speaker built for small events, functions and mobile setups where you want sound without a lot of gear to carry. It uses a moulded polypropylene enclosure that stays light and holds up to regular transport, with integral top and side carry handles so you can move it easily. A 35mm pole mount lets you raise it on a speaker stand, and the whole thing runs from a single IEC lead with a UK plug supplied in the box.

Inside, custom low and high frequency drivers are driven by a digital amplifier using a Class D and Class AB circuit, rated at 220W. This keeps weight and power draw down while giving you a strong output for the size. The high frequency section uses a 35mm (1.35 inch) titanium compression driver with a 90 by 60 degree dispersion, so coverage stays even across a room. On the back you get a switchable Mic/Line input on XLR or jack (US: 1/4 inch phone plug) and a separate Line input on XLR or RCA (US: phono), each with its own volume control, plus a Line output on XLR for feeding another speaker by cable.

The built in Bluetooth receiver plays audio straight from a phone or tablet, handy when you have no mixer to hand. The BT link function goes a step further and connects wirelessly to a second CAB series speaker to form a stereo pair, though note this works with the Bluetooth signal only. Power on, limit and Bluetooth link LEDs show you what the speaker is doing at a glance. It runs on 220-240Vac at 50Hz. This gives you a compact box with quick setup and enough flexibility for most background and small live jobs.

Can I pair two CAB-10L speakers for stereo?

Yes. The BT link function connects wirelessly to another CAB series speaker to form a stereo pair. This works with the Bluetooth signal only, so it applies when you are playing audio over Bluetooth.

What inputs does it have?

There is a switchable Mic/Line input on XLR or jack, a separate Line input on XLR or RCA, and a Bluetooth receiver. Each of the two wired inputs has its own volume control, and there is an XLR line output for linking by cable.

Is it an active speaker?

Yes, the CAB-10L is active, meaning the amplifier is built in. You just connect your source and mains power, with no separate amp needed.

How is it powered?
