Description

The Citronic C-118S is an active line array sub cabinet built for high SPL output across medium to long throw applications. It sits within the C-series modular system, so you can configure it to suit the room and the job in hand. The cabinet holds a single heavy duty 18" (450mm) sub driver with a cast aluminium basket, ceramic magnet and double reinforced suspension, giving you solid low end without fuss.

Power comes from an internal class-D amplifier section with built-in DSP, delivering 1000W rms (2000W peak) with accurate frequency and dynamics control. The wooden enclosure is computer-designed and tuned, made from 15mm plywood and given a polyurea texture finish that stands up to knocks on the road. Integral pinlock array hardware and carry handles make it quicker to move and rig, and a 35mm pole mount socket sits on the top panel for stacked use.

You can run the C-118S as a standalone active subwoofer, stack it in multiples, or fly it with C-series array cabinets using the optional C-FRAME support assembly. Frequency response covers 40Hz to 150Hz with a rated sensitivity of 98dB and a maximum SPL of 131dB at 1W/1m. Power is supplied at 230Vac, 50Hz with Powercon in and through connections, so linking several cabinets is straightforward. At 54kg it is a substantial unit, best handled by two people when lifting or positioning.
