Description

This Citronic guitar lead is a retro-style, nylon-braid-covered cable for guitars, instruments and audio gear running unbalanced signals. It measures 3.0m and comes in black and blue, with the braided outer helping to keep the cable tidy and free from tangles. The braid also adds a layer of protection to the wiring inside, so the lead holds up to regular use on stage and in the practice room.

Inside, the cable uses pure copper conductors made from 13 strands at 0.12mm each, with cotton reinforcement for added strength. A soft-grip, rubberised jacket sits over the top and helps the lead resist tangling and knotting. The overall cable diameter is 6.6mm, giving it a solid feel without being stiff or awkward to coil. Connections are machine-soldered for consistency.

The lead is fitted with two professional die-cast 6.3mm mono jack plugs (known as a 1/4 inch phone plug in the US): one straight and one right-angled. The right-angled plug sits neatly against your instrument, which reduces strain where the lead meets the socket. It is also available in a 6.0m length if you need more room to move, and in other retro colour options to suit your setup.
