Description

Our Citronic 2XF-2XM300 is a twin XLR audio lead measuring 3 metres, terminated with two female XLR and two male XLR connectors at either end. It gives you two balanced signal runs in a single cable, which keeps things tidy when you're linking a mixer to active speakers or connecting stereo sources across a stage or studio. The connectors are die-cast and machine-soldered, so the joints hold up well to repeated plugging and coiling.

The cable itself uses twinned high-grade construction with a diameter of 5mm per core (5 x 10mm overall). Inside, each conductor is made from 12 strands of 0.1mm pure copper, with cotton reinforcement to help the lead cope with the bending and pulling it gets in regular use. A soft-grip, rubberised jacket keeps the two runs from tangling and makes the cable comfortable to handle when you're setting up in a hurry.

Wiring follows the standard balanced pin-out: pin 1 to ground, pin 2 hot and pin 3 cold.
