Description

This Citronic audio lead connects two RCA phono plugs to two male XLR connectors, giving you a tidy way to link source gear to balanced inputs over a 6 metre run. It's built for regular use, with die-cast XLR connectors and machine-soldered connections that hold up well when leads get plugged and unplugged often.

The cable itself is twinned high-grade wire with pure copper conductors and cotton reinforcement inside. That reinforcement helps the lead cope with flexing and pulling, while the shielding keeps interference down so the signal stays clean. Each core measures 5mm in diameter and carries 12 strands of 0.1mm pure copper, which is a solid spec for this type of run.

The outer jacket is a soft-grip rubberised finish that resists tangling, so coiling and storing the lead is straightforward. RCA plugs are also known as phono plugs, and the male XLR ends are the standard three-pin type used across audio equipment. If you're running a mixer, interface or amplifier into or out of RCA-fitted gear, this lead does the job without fuss and should give you years of reliable service.
