Description

This Citronic audio lead connects two RCA plugs (phono plugs) to two male XLR connectors, giving you a tidy way to link line-level gear to balanced inputs. It measures 1.5m, which suits mixers, amps and active speakers sat close together in a rack or on a desk. The shielded build keeps interference down, so your signal stays clean across the run.

We've built it with twinned high-grade cable using pure copper conductors and cotton reinforcement for strength. The outer jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised design that resists tangling and holds up to repeated coiling. Connectors are die-cast for a solid feel, and the solder joints are machine-made for consistency, so you get reliable contact every time you plug in.

Each conductor uses 12 strands of 0.1mm pure copper, and the twin cable runs at 5mm diameter (5 x 10mm across the pair). The RCA to XLR layout makes this a practical choice for studio, stage and installed setups where you need to bridge unbalanced RCA sources with balanced XLR inputs. Note that this is a passive lead and does not convert between balanced and unbalanced signals; it simply routes the connections. RCA is sometimes called phono in the UK, and both terms refer to the same plug here.
