Description

This Citronic audio lead carries two channels over a 6-metre run, with two female XLR connectors on one end and two 6.3mm mono jack plugs on the other. It suits stereo or dual-mono connections between mixers, amplifiers and stage equipment, giving you a tidy twin cable rather than two loose leads. The rubberised jacket is soft to grip and resists tangling when you coil and store it between jobs.

The cable itself uses twinned high-grade construction, measuring 5mm across each core (5 x 10mm overall). Inside you get pure copper conductors, each made from 12 strands of 0.1mm wire, with cotton reinforcement for added strength. Shielding helps keep interference out of the signal, so the lead holds up well in busy setups with plenty of other equipment running nearby.

Connections are handled by die-cast XLR female connectors and 6.3mm mono jack plugs (called a 1/4-inch phone jack in the US). Each joint is machine-soldered for a consistent bond that stands up to regular use and repeated plugging.
