This stoneware mug is shaped like a little Christmas tree, its three tiered body topped by a lid that sits on like the tree's crown and lifts off by its star. The whole piece is finished in a soft white speckled glaze, scattered with warm tan polka dots that run round every tier and over the lid. A sturdy looped handle sits on one side for a comfortable grip. It stands 15.5cm tall, 15cm wide and 13cm deep, a chunky, characterful mug that sits nicely in the hand on a cold morning.

This is a mug for the festive season, one to bring out each December for hot chocolate, mulled apple juice or the first cup of tea on Christmas morning.
