Our ceramic holiday bell is a tree decoration made of three stacked tiers, each a little narrower than the one above it, so it hangs from a branch like a small cluster of bells. The tiers are a soft green with a matt finish, and each one carries looping dotted garlands and scattered white stars, much like strings of lights wound around a real tree. Above the top tier sit two gold-coloured beads with a pale bead between them, threaded on a cream cord that forms the hanging loop, and a small pale tip finishes the base. It measures 7.5cm across and 6.5cm deep.

Hang it on the Christmas tree at eye level, where the stars and garlands can be enjoyed up close, or let it dangle from a cupboard knob, a window latch or a garland along the mantelpiece.
