Our Christmas Nutcracker rug puts a pair of toy soldiers on guard at your door for the festive weeks. On a cream ground, a nutcracker stands at each end, one in a red hat with a green and blue jacket and red trousers, the other in a green hat with a red jacket and green trousers, each holding a tall staff. Between them, MERRY CHRISTMAS runs across the centre in curly red lettering, with a small drum on either side and gold stars scattered all around. The design is digitally printed on 100% polyester, with green running through both uniforms.

It is made for the hallway, where a cheerful greeting is the first thing family and guests step onto. The 50 by 80cm size sits neatly just inside the front door, and 76 by 150cm gives a little more length for a wider hall or an entrance. For long, narrow spaces there is a 61 by 230cm runner for a slimmer corridor and a 76 by 230cm runner for a broader hallway, so the nutcrackers can lead the way from the door towards the stairs.
