This pink Christmas tree plaque in MDF brings a knowing wink to the festive mantelpiece. Cut in the shape of a three-tiered tree, it carries a round bauble at its centre, hung from a gold cap and loop. Inside the bauble is an illustration of a man in a dark suit and open-necked white shirt, flanked by four women in red Santa dresses trimmed with white. Stars in red, green, white and gold are scattered across the pale pink, and beneath the bauble, in bold black capitals, it reads You're My Christmas Number One... Again. It is made to sit upright among cards and candles without crowding them.

We think it belongs on the mantelpiece, as its name suggests, though it is just as happy on a hallway console, a bookshelf, a windowsill or an office desk through December.
